The University of Mind Goalies of the Month for November 2025
As we move deeper into the 2025–26 season, we're thrilled to present the UofMind Goalies of the Month for November! This month, we’re recognizing three outstanding goaltenders whose dedication, discipline, and mindset continue to elevate the standard of excellence within our goalie community.

Josh Ravensbergen - (Prince George Cougars, WHL)
November Stats: 8-2-0-0 | 1.99 GAA | .940 SV%
Joshua Ravensbergen has been one of the most dominant and dependable goaltenders in the Western Hockey League this season. Named the Mary Brown’s Chicken WHL Goaltender of the Month for November, the San Jose Sharks prospect delivered an incredible stretch of performances—going 8-2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .940 save percentage. No goalie logged more minutes or made more saves during the month, showcasing not only his skill but his durability and readiness to shoulder a heavy workload. From a 39-save overtime win in Seattle to a 29-save shutout in Wenatchee, Ravensbergen consistently gave Prince George elite-level goaltending night after night.
What makes his success even more impressive is the steady, composed mindset he brings to every start. Closing November on a five-game winning streak and holding opponents to two goals or fewer in six straight outings, Ravensbergen has become a backbone for a Cougars team pushing to the top of the standings. Now sitting at 13-6-0-0 on the season with top-tier rankings across WHL goaltending categories, he continues to raise his game while proving why he was a first-round NHL Draft selection. As the Cougars remain one of the WHL’s strongest teams, Ravensbergen’s blend of athleticism, mental strength, and consistency is driving their momentum—and turning him into one of the league’s standout success stories this year.
Easton Rye - (Peterborough Petes, OHL)
November Stats: 8-2-0-0 | 2.48 GAA | .927 SV%
Growing up just a few rows behind the net at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, Easton Rye never imagined he’d one day be the one wearing the maroon and white on the ice below. Born and raised in Peterborough, Rye’s connection to the Petes runs deep—rooted in family tradition, childhood heroes, and countless nights spent watching his favorite goaltender, Andrew D’Agostini. That early admiration sparked his dream of becoming a goalie, and in a full-circle twist, Rye now wears the very same number D’Agostini once sported. From being a young fan in the stands to a hometown draft pick who still feels the magic every time he pulls on the jersey, Rye embodies what it means to grow up dreaming in maroon and white.
Now in his third OHL season, Rye has become a stabilizing force for a young Peterborough Petes squad. After a productive offseason and valuable developmental experiences in both the PJCHL and as an OHL emergency backup, he’s emerged as a confident, composed presence in the crease. His play has helped lift the Petes into a competitive position early in the campaign, and his leadership continues to grow with every start. What began as a childhood dream has become a living reality, and with each performance, Easton Rye continues to inspire the next generation of kids sitting behind the net, imagining themselves in his place one day.
Owen Flores - (Indy Fuel, ECHL)
November Stats: 4-2-1-1 | 2.12 GAA | .920 SV%
Owen Flores has emerged as one of the brightest young standouts in the ECHL, delivering a calm, confident presence in net for the Indy Fuel throughout the month. His steady rise was highlighted by a major career milestone—earning his first professional shutout—showcasing not only his athletic ability but also his poise under pressure. With sharp reads, controlled movements, and a growing command of the crease, Flores consistently gave his team a chance to win every night. His performance elevated the Fuel’s energy and stability, proving he’s quickly becoming a reliable force in their lineup.
Beyond the stats, Flores’s maturity and game-to-game competitiveness have made him a clear choice for Goalie of the Month. Whether facing heavy shot volumes or defending tight, low-scoring battles, he demonstrated discipline, composure, and the mindset of a goaltender ready for the next level. His progression this season reflects the work he’s put into refining his technique and mental game—traits that continue to impress coaches, teammates, and fans alike. As the season moves forward, Flores is positioning himself as a rising goaltender to watch.
Watching these goaltenders rise — Josh Ravensbergen in the WHL, Easton Rye in the OHL, and Owen Flores in the ECHL is a testament to what happens when preparation meets mindset at the highest level. Each of them shows, in their own way, that elite goaltending starts long before the puck hits the ice. It begins in the habits they build, the focus they cultivate, and the belief they reinforce every single day. Their approach to training, both mentally and physically, reflects a deep commitment to growth and excellence.
