The PF Goalies of the Month for December 2025
We’re proud to present the Goalies of the Month for December. This month, we recognize three exceptional goaltenders whose commitment to preparation, discipline, and elite mindset continues to raise the standard within our goalie community. Their performances reflect not just talent, but the daily habits, focus, and belief that drive consistent growth and high-level play.

Calle Clang - San Diego Gulls (AHL)
December Stats: 5-1-0-0 1.14 GAA .952 SV%
Clang delivered a series of impactful performances for the San Diego Gulls, starting with an excellent 5–1 home victory, where he earned the win by stopping 18 of 19 shots and anchoring the defense in his first appearance since early November. His calm, composed play was a key factor in the team’s success that night.
He capped off the month in style by recording the first shutout of his AHL career on December 28, turning aside all 15 shots in a 3–0 win over the Abbotsford Canucks. The performance marked one of his strongest outings of the season and highlighted his growing confidence and consistency in the crease.
After returning to the lineup mid-month, Clang made the most of every opportunity earning starts, and delivering timely saves when the team needed them most. His improving play and steady presence provided a boost for the Gulls as they pushed through a demanding AHL schedule.
Domenic DiVincentiis - Manitoba Moose (AHL)
December Stats: 2-3-0-0 2.97 GAA .900 SV%
Hats off to Domenic DiVincentiis, who delivered a standout month between the pipes for the Manitoba Moose!
DiVincentiis was a steady and impactful presence in goal throughout December, stepping up in key moments and giving his team a chance to win night after night. The standout highlight came on December 3, 2025, when he recorded a 30-save shutout in a dominant 5–0 victory over the Chicago Wolves, marking his first shutout of the season and showcasing his ability to control the crease and silence the opposition’s offense.
All season long with the Moose, DiVincentiis has posted strong overall numbers including a 2.49 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage proving he’s one of the most reliable goaltenders in the Manitoba net this year.
His December performances weren’t just about stats. Dom brought confidence and calm to the Moose’s defensive corps, helping steady the ship and giving his teammates the belief that they could compete in every game.
Easton Rye - Peterborough Petes (OHL)
December Stats: 4-3-0-0 3.46 GAA .905 SV%
Easton Rye stood tall in net and delivered consistent, impactful performances for the Peterborough Petes through December!
Throughout the month, Rye has continued to shine as a backbone for the Petes, helping the team maintain strong positioning in the Eastern Conference. He has regularly faced heavy workloads and responded with composed, resilient goaltending that gave his teammates confidence game after game.
One of the highlight moments in December came when Rye backstopped a 5–3 victory over the CHL’s top-ranked Brantford Bulldogs, making 37 saves and showcasing his ability to make big stops in crucial moments to preserve the lead and secure the win.
Rye’s steady glove work, timely saves, and leadership between the pipes have been a major factor in the Petes’ success and rival wins during this stretch. His calm presence and ability to bail the team out of tough situations make him the clear Goalie of the Month.
Watching these goaltenders rise — Calle Clang in the AHL, Domenic DiVincentiis in the AHL, and Easton Rye in the OHL — is a testament to what happens when preparation meets mindset at a high level. Each of them shows, in their own way, that elite goaltending starts long before the puck hits the ice. It begins in the habits they build, the focus they cultivate, and the belief they reinforce every single day. Their approach to training mentally and physically reflects a deep commitment to growth and consistency.
